A simple version of an endless runner game in 2D

This repository is a simple Space Runner 2D game. Everyone is free to edit it and use it as they please. The aim is to provide a generic basis on the theme of endless runner games as a template that can later be modified or even extended, in order to develop highly visual video games.

The aim of the game is to travel as far as possible, jumping over platforms, cliffs and dodging traps, in order to gain the highest score. In addition, the player can collect bonus points and lives during the game to extend the playing time.

In order to develop this game, the software tools used are the following ones:

• Unity Hub 2.4.2.
• Unity 3D (version 2019.4.17f1.
• Microsoft Visual Studio 2019.
• Asset Store of Unity (sprites, animations, sounds and backgrounds).
