About The Project

Product Name Screen Shot

This game has been created for this teams final assignment in their study. The game is based on a wish from the customer Spark to learn who aims to teach children how to be creative with technologies such as coding. They have noticed that there are't a lot of female programmers which follow the study Game Development which led to this project. Their goal is to give a postive exerience towards programming through a game which teaches them the fundamentals.

Our game takes place in a magical world where the main characters grandma is the great witch. One day she sends to a letter which tells you that she has a store which she wants you to have and manage. She also has a cat which will mentor the character thoughout the game and help you in tight situations with the enemies of your store 'The rats!'.
Create sellable objects and sell them to your new customers who will visit your store. Customize your own store to your liking with the fast amount of original furniture and build your own store.
There are also customers which need a favor and want you to repair something that is broken. Your task is to solve the puzzle and fix the things they hold dear. Goodluck!

Usage

Screen1

We have created this game for the company 'Sparktolearn' which had been provided by the institution.

The group wanted to achieve a game that gives girls around the age of 8/12 a positive exerience while coding. Thats why we have created a small game which we thought that the age group would have liked.
The game isn't fully based around coding but you will find a lot of references which can stimulate a more postive thinking towards coding. We thought of a minigame which is shown on the picture above. This minigame replicates the abstract thinking and in how to create a working object.
