While trying to the 'SAT>IP client', the error of 'No vtuners found' is presented.
Upon investigation it resulted in /proc/misc/vtunerX device mappings are missing.
Suggesting that currently there is no support driver or kernel module for vtuners included in the active builds.

Could this be added?

Hi,

We are trying to add support for iptables and wireguard.

We edit the defconfig file enabling the different options, but when we start the firm the showiframe binary causes a kernel panic.

We have tested this on other receivers with hisilicon chipset and it has worked without problems.

But instead in the models with hisilicon chipset from zgemma we are having a problem that the showiframe binary causes kernel panic when enabling these options in the kernel.

Is it possible to look at this problem and try to solve it in order to support iptables and wireguard?

i test blindscan on H7s and work, but missing a lot options.

Don't have option to choose start and stop range for symbol rate, also don't have option to choose what transponder to scan and what to don't scan, also bug is every finded mux is with AUTO fec, must find fec, not all mux with auto.

Bug i find, when one of tunner is not configured and run blindscan plugin get blue screen and crash, like my example i not used second sat tunner and tunner was active, but not configured by default and blindscan plugin crash, must not crash even with not configured tunner.

On H9S box DTS audio is not working in movies unless downmix DTS to stereo is enabled. Tried openATV 6.2 and 6.3 the same problem exists. AC3 has no issues.

On some mkv movies which I play from USB stick sound and picture are not synchronized.
I checked different USB sticks and even from USB Hdd there is same problem.
There are no such problem when I use my PC for same mkv playback.

I also checked these mkv files on H7 owned by my friend and playback was also OK.
So, it looks like the problem is only on H9.
Could you please help with this problem or maybe I should return my H9 to the seller?

Hello. There is a problem with the correct operation of this module in h7s. On some channels, e.g. polsat hd, polsat2 hd, tv4, tv6, the sound is distorted, intermittent, jerky, like a hiccup. Is there a chance to eliminate this problem? It was tested on two different zgemm h7s and two different canal + CI + ECP modules.A colleague checked this module on h9twin and it works fine there. No problems with sound.Tested on various OATV, PLI, HYPERION soft products

I would like to report a problem with the vtuner on zgemma-h7c . The ioctls() between enigma2 and satipclient took really long time so the frontend stalls. It appears like a queuing issue in the virtual tuner code in h7 kernel modules. Please, could you give a look? You can test this with the minisatip server (already as package in openpli for example).

Current OpenPLI 7.1 with newest drivers.

Problem:
When i transcode channel with ac3 audio track (2.0 or 5.1 does not matter) i got no audio. Mpeg works without problem - but there are channels with ac3 audio only so it would be great to fix ac3 transcode.
Already tried downix on/off - no effect.

There is a problem with Seca/Nagra card from polish Canal+ platform.
Card can be used in two systems:

• Non-paired Seca Mediaguard (0100) which will be switched off soon.
• Paired Nagravision CAK7 (1813)

However there is a problem to initialize card in Nagra 1813 and it's only occurs on hisilicon boxes (h9 series) everything is working fine with older bcm boxes (h7, h3, h5 series)

The same problem applies to HD-Digital/Mutant AX HD61 STB.
Something is wrong with card reader drivers.

If you need more info/more detailed log let me know.

It seems that if more than one DVB-S satipclient vtuner is used (tested with two), the satipclient does not work at all. Using latest satipclient code (commit 8a36315). One DVB-S vtuner is fine.

About installing the internal Hdd 2.5 Sata on the H9 Twin and Combo.
The connected internal drive has the wrong removable flag

root@h9combo:~# cat /sys/block/sda/removable
1

1 means a removable device, such a flag goes on a flash drive.
The disc must be with flag 0.
The USB drive has the correct flag 0,Flash drive 1,so everything is correct except Sata.
Because of this, the drive is mounted in /media/usb and does not stop after a specified time.
It is checked by the command:

The string for Sata will contain the names ahci and ata.

You can't close the issue and its not solved yet.
You said something about power ? I told you that 10 drives have been tested and even flash usb drives (NTFS) which doesn't require power are not read on the USB 3.0 port unless I format them to FAT32.
You can't even test by yourself on the Zgemma H9S ?

If you want to assume that USB 3.0 port is damaged, its working fine on openATV 6.2 (15-05-2019)
You should really test by yourself before judging I am using openATV 6.3 today version.

Hello, I beg you not to scold and do not drive to the forum. In the Zgemma H9 Combo there is one slot Ci and one card reader, I have one Ci + module installed and in CommonInterAssignment it shows the constant initialization of the second module. I was told that this is a driver bug, if this is so please correct this problem.

hello netflix e2 plugin working on Hisilicon Hi3798MV200 future news on H9 Serie ?

Bitbake seems to know that zgemma-libs provides a newer version of libc.so.6. This leads to warnings like:

It doesn't happen all the time, and I haven't been able to find the cause of it (or how to prevent this from happening).

This issue is currently keeping us from releasing OpenPLi 7.0.

Blind Scan option is not working which allows you to scan a specific satellite within a frequency range scale.
This option works on all receivers so please solve this problem which will make the H9S the best until now.

To solve PCM playback issue in servicehisilicon you removed /usr/lib/hisilicon/libpcm.so
without this lib playback with /dev/dvb/adapter0/audio0 configured as AUDIOTYPE_RAW does not work anymore.

Tested on Openpli 7.3. Could you please fix this?

I want to ask driver team to extend DVB API to take full advantage of the Hi3798M V200 SoC capabilities.

The SoC have JPEG decoder, so the question is if driver team can add support for VIDEO_SET_STREAMTYPE -> VIDEO_STREAMTYPE_MJPEG?
So, it can be used to play stream for example from IP cameras.

Also if possible VIDEO_STREAMTYPE_RAW (or YUV or something like that) will be BIG improvements which will allow to use software video decoding.

If this will be to hard maybe some API can be provided to allow use hardware JPEG/PNG decoder and write access to video layer?

Possibility to display RAW pixels on video layer will be really very nice. At now on all STB with Enigma2 the display resolution of photos is limited to frame buffer resolution.
With API to write access video layer it will be limited to the output resolution not to frame buffer resolution it wil made huge diffrence.
Aslo implementation media player using software decoders will be possible.

The ideal solution will be to have VIDEO_SET_STREAMTYPE (with RAW pixels) for example (VIDEO_STREAMTYPE_RAW_YUV) to push software decoded frame to video decoder. In such solution the audio/video synchronization should be handled by direvers. So, RAW frames should be written with some header with PTS.

But probably it will need more work for driver team.

As alternative the driver team can provide other API to just access video layer in the write mode with Double Buffering or Triple Buffering.

Such possiblity will for sure be used by manny plugins and make ZGEMMA STB matchless.

STB is connected via coaxial audio output to 5.1 system (logitech z-680)
Multichannel downmix is set to off

Dolby digital is working perfectly with sat and dvb-t channels.
But when i switch from sat to dvb-t and then again from dvb-t to sat (or vice versa) there is no sound. To get it working again i have to turn off 5.1 system and turn it on.

With multichannel downix set to on switching between sat>dvb-t>sat>dvb-t is working without audio loss but of course no dolby digital audio.

Anyone can reproduce that bug? Its driver or hw problem?

CI+ module really work when file exists /etc/ciplus0_disable or /etc/ciplus1_disable

Install new image, file exists:
/etc/ciplus0_enable
/etc/ciplus1_enable

open this file:
rename ciplus*_enable to ciplus*_disable for deactivate ciplus certification of the module.

As far as I understand, everything should be done the other way around?

hi tried all the images for the Zgemma H 9 Series, none of them show radio.mvi in radio mode... Please look at what's wrong...

after reinstalling new version on h9s zgemma and downloading stalker from plugin you put your portal and then when press on stalker it doesnt start , you should press more than 10 times in repeated times to start once,
i tried all images available openvix, openatv mopenpli all same problem , i dont know what to do , i also had some old versions like 5.3 ,5,4 on these versions they took out download manager cannot download stalker or any other plugin , i tried to find out manual install stalker but unsuccessfully please help

the IPTV provider gives you the sheets with frame rate 25 and the Zgemma H9 shows the frame rate 30, VLC shows the correct frame rate...
