Spots is built on using table or collection views as containers for your views. If you want to add a text field to the view then you can add a textfield
table view row or collection view item, register it in the corresponding spot and then populate the it with a view model that uses the same kind.

The fields should not be a problem, however, we went with a simple data model for lists, which means that we lack support for columns. But the first part would be doable in a GridSpot
.
