Hey @rsardek There are a couple of ways that you can do this.

If you want to get notified if an item inside a component has been selected then you can assign a ComponentDelegate to that component. If you are using the SpotsController you can simply assign delegate to your corresponding component delegate.

func component(_ component: Component, itemSelected item: Item)

This method will give you the item and the component that was selected.

If you want to assign a button inside of a ItemConfigurable view that you use in Spots, you can assign that delegate either using:

func component(_ component: Component, willDisplay view: ComponentView, item: Item) {
   switch view {
      case let customView as MyAwesomeView:
        customView.delegate = self // if your controller conforms to MyAwesomeView
   }
}

Both those methods live on ComponentDelegate.

Hope this helps, let me know if theres anything else that you need, cheers 😎

@rsardek Closing this issue now, but it got me thinking... I think we should write a small guide how this works in the framework to make it more clear for new users.

Hey @zenangst many thanks for the guide.
I made it work now. I put together the samples from the "Getting started" guide and your above suggestion.
