battery-status-for-homematic's Issues

Long device names are cut off

People (including me) often (unnecessarily) include rooms and such in device names, which can end up being very long, like:

"Wohnzimmer Thermostat Wand hinten"

Those are cut off in the list.

The very least the full name should be shown in the expanded row.

Add a way to sort and filter by battery status

Not sure it provides any actual extra value, might just complicate the (intentionally simple) UI unnecessarily.

IIRC the list is currently sorted by low-bat (i.e. low-bat devices should always appear at the top), then by type & name.

But we'll see, a sort-popover button is probably easy to do.

Add a way to exclude devices from the list

If there is a device still registered in the CCU, but you uninstalled it (say a b0rked thermostat), it'll still show up in HMBattery. Would be nice to be able to hide such.

That is a feature which really should be part of the CCU (maybe it is? visibility flag?).

I'm a little worried that this unnecessarily complicates the UI, but being able to attach a flag to a device and then filter (maybe in combination w/ Issue #3), would indeed be nice.

CCU Fehler beim Auslesen der Werte

User reporting those being logged:

Dec 11 08:43:33 ccu3-webui local0.err ReGaHss: ERROR: XMLRPC 'getValue' call failed (interface: 1011, params: {"00085501110011:0","OPERATING_VOLTAGE"}) [CallGetValue():iseXmlRpc.cpp:1435]

Not sure why, the app doesn't directly read values, only those reported by the CCU.

Add push message for empty battery

Would be nice if there would be a push message when the battery is empty.

This is definitely true. Yet to add Push, there would need to be a program installed in the CCU which communicates w/ a ZeeZide server, which doesn't sound very tempting and out of scope.

It would be very useful though, so I'm keeping that open for now.

Missing values

the battery values were initially displayed. After approx. 2 weeks of use, only a few battery statuses are displayed.,

Can't connect

CCU is well configured (same settings like e.g. @Home app). DNS name is resolvable (using IPv4 IP instead doesn't change anything). Secure connection is enabled. CCU (Raspberrymatic 3.69.7.20230626) is using a self signed certificate. Login credentials (Admin) copied from password safe (and typed manually). Remote Homematic-Script API configured with full access. Battery Status for Homematic app can't access. Rega API test in Browser with sucess. Is there any change for debugging the issue ?
