Its possible add params to trace functions?
If yes is a good enchantment

The thing is I'm using volt so I can't install or do w/e to get the plugin started
v4.12 was fine
As you know I've been having problems with my server hanging.
After some debugging with JernejL, he told me it was to do with a files or file permissions or writing. I told him that I don't touch files, nor does the GPS Plugin.
After I disabled the GPS Plugin from the server, it didn't hang. I spoke to Maddinator and he told me to compile the GPS Plugin with debug tags and remove crashdetect. Same again, the hanging didn't occur.
Maddinator once again told me to disable the debug tags and recompile. I did this and loaded the gamemode and for some reason, there was no hanging for 2+ days! Normally it would hang after around one hour. I've come to the conclusion as I remembered that Crashdetect isn't enabled at the moment and I have put it down to that the CrashDetect plugin is some how interfering with how the GPS Plugin works or vice versa as it only seems to hang with Crashdetect enabled WITH the GPS Plugin.
Maybe you could shed some light on this.

Its a larger gm, was working on some older versions, don't really remember which ones atm. I know the last few have not. Strange thing is every now and then it will load but that is really rare.

All of the tests fail with BAD_COMMAND
error on Windows.

При загрузке скрипта crashdetect'ом писать какое количество скомпилленных строк в коде в моде, чтобы если было приближенное количество к 65к, скажем 64к, или уже перевалило за 65к т.е. 1к или 2к, то знал об этом.
Hi, my server crashes when I spawn on Volt-Host but does not crash when it is on my homehost.
I've tried the plugin and it gives no information which is helpful to fixing this. I need to know as my server will be down until fixed.

I use the version 4.11.2 for Linux (CentOS) and I noticed that the plugin failed to load. I already posted in the thread, but nobody replied.. so it gives me:

EDIT: Nevermind, I fixed it by following exactly what was written in this post (http://forum.sa-mp.com/showpost.php?p=1889275&postcount=7). I had tried again but it didn't work, I did something wrong before I guess.
I found out that y_inline isn't compatible with crashdetect, It took me hours to configure out what causes the crash (without any output from crashdetect) after hours of searching, I tried using normal compiler as I am using your compiler but using yours and normal compiler causes crash aswell, so I started suspecting on plugins after trial and error (removed

samp03svr: amx/amxfile.c:101: fgets_cell: Assertion `fp!=((void *)0)' failed.
The server crashed completely and interestingly the log said the following. I believe its not related to the code since the log says that a native crashed (I believe the native does the validity and boundary checks on the data).
Please let me know what could've been the issue because I dont know how to interpret the log.

The server crashes quite often when I reload a FS. It does not crash if I don't use crashdetect, or if I use the JIT plugin.
Also, reloading the FS from the console is even more crash-prone than doing it in-game.
How can I debug this further so you get some better information? It's on Windows.

So I'm just totally lost with these crashdetect errors. I'm not sure if it's an issue with the plugin but the errors are not helpful at all when it comes to knowing what the problem is and fixing it. I'm creating an issue here in an attempt to see if it's crashdetect or maybe simply how we are using the plugin.

The weird thing is the server was fine for a while after the last script update. Hopefully you understand these crash errors better than I can or can steer me in the right direction for how to get more informative debug info.
When running this simple script using Wine on OS X:

So I've been having a major issue where for a long period of time my script will keep restarting with full CPU and full RAM maxing out even a full dedicated servers resources and I had no idea why so I did some investigting.
I removed the Gamemode and Filterscripts and it still happened. Upon removal of Crashdetect from the plugin list it started working fine.
I have it running fine from what I can remember on another server so I began to take off the other plugins one by one and it had no effect although but this point the CPU and RAM would go up significantly (4gb RAM 100% CPU) but then drop rapidly on the same PID and the server would run fine. This happened on multiple gamemodes.
Basically their is an insane CPU/RAM spike for using the long script version and I think it gets so high that the process doesn't start up at all and quits alot of the time.
It seems to just about get by loading fine on my 8GB VPS where I have enough RAM for it to nearly exceed the 4GB but, on my smaller VPS it doesn't work at all. I have noticed by having 3 lightweight filterscripts it just doesn't work at all.
I know this is alot of information and is quite confusing but, the tl;dr is.. LSE version makes huge CPU/RAM spikes and servers do not start right as a result. Its a shame because when it works I actually got correct crash reports.
If gamemode uses y_inline with "string:" type parameter, and crashdetect plugin is enabled, server segfaults. Without the plugin gdb doesn't report anything out of normal. Completely unhelpful GDB output as I can't even copy text from VM:

I have been a long-time user of crashdetect on live server until recently when i have - with experiments figured out that crashdetect causes much instability in server fps.
When server can run amx (that contains all debug symbols) at 600fps with 100 players if i load it with crashdetect server fps drops to 300fps with only 33 players.
I am not sure how much of this slowdown is acceptable - it isn't mentioned in manual, i understand that some slowdown is expected however the amout of slowdown shocked me a little.
It is practically counter-productive to run crashdetect live on anything above 50 players, ofcourse my script is very complex so that could be a related factor in all this.

Really, it's horrible.
Is there an option to set timestamps for crashdetect_log, or could that be something added to the plugin?
I'm not sure where or what's causing this.. It happens occasionally, and not right after any special events.

I have a problem in linux debian 7 right now, when my server crashes, no crash log is output.
"plugins crashdetect.so mysql_static_r39.so streamer_2_7_5.so irc.so sscanf.so Whirlpool.so MapAndreas.so"
run time errors show perfectly.
All plugins are latest versions, (sscanf is 2.8 and not 3.0)

Our server crash 1-2 times a day at average ~100 players, but the log doesn't show anything.
The crashdetect works fine, but in this case it doesn't seem to work.
We checked our last modifications many times but we did not found it (our gamemode have ~100,000 lines).
So my question:
Is it possible to write to file the last 5 function calls?
(Or maybe write a small listener application which listen for the function calls and when the server crash its write to a log file)

I have tested plugin on my dedicated machine on lvdm gamemode, and worked fine - showed AMX backtrace. Than i made same code on my gamemode, there gamemode crash but wont show what is problem.

I have already compiled the gamemode on Unix (Ubuntu 13.10) and Windows, format() function doesn't work properly (example convert "%s" on "%%"), also the crashdetect plugin doesn't work.

Gamemode versions:
v1 ~92k lines (plugin works).
v2 ~112k lines (plugin doesn't work).
With ~92k (v1 gamemode version) lines, everything works and crashdetect plugin print error messages, ~112k (v2) not.

plugins streamer.so audio.so mysql.so socket.so crashdetect.so
Is there any limit for heapspace?
Our production server is on Unix (Ubuntu 13.10).
