if a user have a knife in his loadout (not the default one) as example a huntsman, if he tries to get a karambit fade he will only get a vanilla karambit (SubClass get changed but i think this call needs some time to be done and then you need to change the paint on it. **The solution is very simple, if the skin uses the old gun model, you have to call SetMeshGroupMask with meshGroupMask=2 on both the weapon and the view model.

SetMeshGroupMask takes the CGameSceneNode/CSkeletonInstance pointer and meshGroupMask as parameters.
