But in web.php

    ....
}
return $config;

and $config still remains in the memory. I can not think how to do unset $config.

About $params

Now you can get param via:

var_dump(Yii::$app->params, $GLOBALS['params'], $GLOBALS['config']['params']);

  'adminEmail' => string '[email protected]' (length=17)

I see no reason to use a long string Yii::$app->params.:trollface:
