ctr-httpwn's Issues

Config download fail

Upon running the app, I received the following message after attempting to download the config

"httpcGetResponseStatusCode returned 0xd8a0a03c
Config downloading failed: 0xd8a0a03c
An error occured. If this is an actual issue not related to user failure, please report this to..."
etc etc

HBL is on 2.6
Firmware is 10.5.0-30U o3ds

App icon request.

I want a 48x48 PNG app icon. This userland-only app is mainly intended for bypassing sysupdate-requirements, but it can be used for other things via user config as well. This also results in sysupdates being blocked from downloading normally(the system handles it the same way as if no sysupdate is available).

In the icon "httpwn" text should be included. One potential icon would be a sysupdate-download image, with an extra arrow indicating sysupdate bypass which contains the previously mentioned text. Any icon indicating sysupdate-requirement bypass with the "httpwn" text being included in the icon is fine too.

The deadline, and when this issue will be closed, is around when this app gets released roughly March 21, 2016, 21:00 UTC-0400.

Can't access eshop

Can access every other online feature, but not eshop.

ctr-httpwn can't download Config settings, and the cached server_config from the SD works on everything but the eshop.

Keep getting error code 005-4040 whenever I try to connect to the eshop.

Uninstall

Is there any way to uninstall this?

Error code: 005-4320 (Eshop)

Basically yesterday ctr-httpwn worked perfectly in the eshop (although it didnt work for pokemon and smash online) but now when i use it (activate the ctr-httpwn from the hb and returning home with start and X) and enter the eshop i keep getting an error code 005-4320. Is anyone else getting it?

eshop - adding funds

Using this on 11.1, can't seem to add funds in the eshop. Get the error 036-9612.

Connection problem with Badge Arcade

Most of the time when using Badge Arcade I get the Error-Code: 006-0501
Sometimes it starts without any problems.

I'm using ctr-httpwn 1.0.1 from the starter kit with ironhax and hax 2.7.
I'm on firmware 10.3.0-28E

Doesn't work on smash 3ds

o3ds 10.5.0-30U, using the latest release of ctr-httpwn, when I load smash bros 3ds, it still displays an error when connecting to update system

Won't return to home menu

11.0.0-33U, menuhax.
When I try to go to home menu (no reboot) from Homebrew Launcher, the 3DS just freezes. If I press the power button at this time, Homebrew Launcher will exit and I'll be left with the screen the 3DS shows when you press the power button, the screen asking confirmation that you want to turn off the 3DS. If I press the Home button at this time, the 3DS says "Home Menu", as if it's trying to load Home Menu, but it never loads. Pressing the Home button after the 3DS freezes on Homebrew Launcher does nothing.

Can't install.

When trying to use it I get the error message: Failed to initialize HTTPC: 0xd8e06406

Haxx setup failed: 0xffffffff

Hello there! I keep getting this error when trying to use this. Im on 11.2 with luma3ds/a9lh booting ctrhttpwn1.2 via homebrew loader.

Server Down?

Hi,

I'm running an A9LH Luma3DS + 11.0.0-33U sysNAND o3DS. I'm trying to use ctr-httpwn for the Pokemon X/Y/OR/AS Mystery Machine, but since I've never run ctr-httpwn before it has to download the config file. However it looks like the server is down - I keep getting errors saying "httpcGetResponseStatusCode returned 0xd8a0a049 Config downloading failed." Trying to open yls8.mtheall.com in Chrome tells me that the server is down.

Not sure where else I could post this except for here just in case you didn't know.

Thanks!

Can't return to home screen without rebooting. Old 3ds 9.8 Themehax.

I installed this on my new 3ds 10.3 via browserhax. It worked perfectly. I then used the same process on my old 3ds 9.8 via themehax but when exiting the homebrew launcher after exiting ctr-http, I am not getting the option to press X to return to home screen without rebooting. If I hit A (which is my only option) the exploit doesn't work. No friends list or games online. I updated the payload and the application, reset the time to jan 1st 2000 and inititialized save data. And just anything else I could think of so far.

Httpwn doesnt seem to work

i have tried re installing the hack with the ctr-httpwn installer but i cant get it to work sysupdates are still prompted when doing anything online the install appears to work but doesnt have the desired outcome

System eShop application crash with EUR <v10.4.

Hi, I am using a 2DS on fw 9.9 E. After using ctr httpwn I can play online and use miiverse but after eshop login my 2DS freezes everytime and need a hardreset. Both homemenu and hans have the same issue. Help please.

Connection Trouble with Smash

Hello there Yellow, currently im having an issue with the ctr app in the online of Smash3DS
when im trying to login the "communicating with the server" screen appears and the game load for a while and then get freezed and " a communication error has ocurred" in screen appears (No error code in the touch screen, just that message) for a moment i tought it was my internet, but the smash dlc shop and eshop-miiverse works very well using ctr-httpwn.
the app gonna need an update for these error or im just have bad luck?
greetings and thank for your time.
(Edit, im using a New3DS XL with 10.5.0-30U Firmware, the Smash is Digital)

Does pokemon bank have compatibility issues?

I just renewed my pokemon bank which I haven't had since I've been using ctr-httpwn. I keep getting an error code when it is connecting to the server and what I've come up with from the nintendo forums is that I should get rid of my custom dns and set dns to auto so I did that but I am still getting the error message. I am wondering if ctr-httpwn is the issue. and if so would there be a work around?

New version available? (0xfffffffb)

Opening ctr-httpwn for the first time, I got invalid statuscode: 500 when attempting to download config. Error code "Config downloading failed: 0xfffffffb"

Server reply: "The server release_version doesn't match the application release_version. A new version of ctr-httpwn is likely available."

Is this true? If so, where can I find the updated version? My version shows v1.0.1. My system is 11.2.0-35U. I have shut down and rebooted my system a few times now, and I still get the same error. Where have I gone wrong?

v1.2 not working

It is saying *hax payload >=v2.8 is required
Reboot your system and try again
Haxx setup failed: 0xd8e06406

I tried rebooting but it didn't work.

Thanks,

Soundhax

After recently installing soundhax and starting this up. I have received this error

yls8.mtheall.com down

It seems like the configuration site is down. I'm not sure if it's being worked on right now, but figured I'd give a heads up.

Thanks for all your work.

Exploit doesn't work on some cartridge games?

I'm on firmware 11.0.0-30U, using steelhax.

The exploit seems to work fine when I run 3ds apps like eshop and others, but when I try to get online in games like pokemon sun, it tells me a system update is required. This is after I ran ctr-httpwn on homebrew, and I didn't reboot my 3ds. Am I doing something wrong, or is it supposed to be this way?

Can't load config

It seems yls8.mtheall.com is down, because it won't download the config and I thought reinstalling it would fix it, so I can't run the config if I disconnect from the internet. Any fixes? Or is there anyone who can give me his server_config?

will this work on 9.2?

I tried it on 9.2 on my O3ds and it flipped out and started corrupting stuff on the sd card.

Stuck

Stuck on "downloading config"

htt-pwn not working

Is the server going to be temporarily down or do we need to find another way around? =[

httpwn not working with acnl

Trying to use httpwn to access dream suite in animal crossing. 3DS is on version 10.2. Ran httpwn through menuhax, when I go to access a dream address it tells me the internet connection is unstable, but my internet is working just fine. Tried updating animal crossing data, tried running through HANS, still doesn't work. Any ideas why I wouldn't be able to access dream suite?

V1.2 error

I'm running n3ds 11.2U

it says
Triggering the haxx...
svcmapmemoryblock with the httpheap sharedmem failed: 0xd9001bf7
Haxx setup failed: 0xd9001bf7
an error occured. If this is an actual issue not related to user failure.......

Cant download conifg file (OLD 3DS 11.0.0.33-U)

20161125_221118
I've tried downloading the config file and it wouldn't work. I'm connected to the Internet, but no results. Any help? Also couldn't get an internal screenshot for some reason. So this is all I could get.

Error using the app after downloading config (Haxx setup failed: 0xffffffff)

Hey there, I'm trying to use httpwn in preparation for a system transfer to avoid updating to 11.2, but I keep getting this strange error. I can't seem to find any information or solutions about it online.

I'm using the version from Plail's guide, but I think the only change should be the server it looks for. Other users who have used the same version from the guide have not had this error.

The app seems to work at first, but after it downloads the config, I get this

Preparing the haxx . . .
Searching for the httpc sharedmem in physmem . . .
Writing the haxx to physmem . . .
Triggering the haxx . . .
httpcCloseContext returned 0xffffffff.
Haxx setup failed: 0xffffffff.
An error occurred.

Any idea on how I can solve this? I'm on an NA n3ds XL with the latest versions of A9LH and Luma.

Here's a screenshot of the full screen.

Thanks in advance for the help, and all your work for the community.

Eshop doesn't open on 11.0.0-33E

I have a n3ds on firmware 11.0.0-33E and I'm using cubic ninja as an entrypoint.
Everything seems to work fine until I open Eshop and then I get Error Code 005-4222

friends-server(nasc)

Hi,
is it possible to use this to change the friends-server requests to a different server? I want to access it and read the friend list data.
If so, what do I have to do?
