zet's Issues

[question] prepare() and EOL

Hi! Thanks for the tool, very useful! Since I'm new to rust I have a question about memchr.
At https://github.com/yarrow/zet/blob/main/src/io.rs#L21 I understand that you want to detect if the first file contains either \n or \r\n.

  • Why just the first file?
  • Wouldn't it be possible to use memmem::find_iter() to simplify the logic?

Thanks a lot in advance. Sorry for opening an issue, I see discussions are not available.

zet doesn't seem to work with process substitution

Hi,
I want to find the intersection of 2 ripgrep commands.
I thought of using process substitution:
zet <(rg --color=never --no-heading --no-column PATTERN1) <(rg --color=never --no-heading --no-column PATTERN2)
but it doesn't seem to work.

Make a GitHub release

I've been using zet for some time now and I wanted to add it to Conda and Homebrew, but they require the package to have a tar.gz release.
