  2. Scroll down to 'Access Point Names'
  3. Click 'Reset to default in the top right menu'

Face recognition does not work

Hi,

The Face recognition does not work. I am on fresh installation of Pixel Experience 11, OnePlus 5T, latest build, no root, no Xposed, no custom kernel.

I have created my facial scan but it doesn't unlock my phone.

Any ideas why?

Thank you

Charging stop after 80%

I just flash the pixel experience rom. It's seem it stop charging after 80%. When I unplugged the charger and plugged in again it's seem it's work fine for some minutes and after that it's same. Looking forward for a fix.

Google Assistant 2.0 missing?

Google assistant 2.0 is not working for me. I have default Pixel 5 props that came with the ROM packed, but I still have the old Google Assistant UI. I don't really know if it's fault from my side or idk. I have location set up as United States.

Call volume not responding to changes

Changing the call volume during a call makes no difference for me, except when using BT headset. The volume seems to be stuck on the loudest in both top speaker and bottom speaker. Further more, the loudest volume of the top speaker is a tad too low, much lower than in other roms.

Hardware Button LED's stuck on + Inconsistent Access to Google Assistant UI

Bug Description:
1 - On the latest update 2021-02-06 when using hardware buttons (default behaviour) and not gestures the hardware buttons are always LED backlit and I cannot find an option to disable this.

2 - When using Google Assistant on the latest update it accessing the UI is inconsistent and not reliable. Asking via voice will not trigger the Assistant UI until you have finished your question and it responds, as a result it's hard to know if it's even listening to you at all or if it heard you accurately until afterwards.
This is observed when A) Accessing Assistant via the long-press of the Home Button (on the on-screen buttons); B) via swiping in from the corners when using on-screen gestures and C) When accessing via the assistant shortcut button on the home page

How to reproduce:
1 - Install the latest version and observe that the hardware buttons are lit and cannot be disabled from an option in settings
2 - Install the latest version and observe that Google Assistant does not work as expected in terms of when the UI should show; this was not present on the previous version.

Expected behaviour:
1 - Expect hardware buttons to not be lit or at least have an option to toggle this behaviour
2 - Have google assistant trigger the UI via the three triggers mentioned above (A/B/C) and show the UI so that you can ask a question and see it being written on the screen before your request is dealt with.

  • Model: Cheeseburger (5)
  • Build date: 2021-02-06
  • Rooted: Yes - Magisk V21.4
  • Stock Kernel

Additional context:
I have tested this by updating from the old system following the instructions here: https://telegra.ph/How-to-update-Pixel-Experience-12-05. This was using the F2FS Filesystem

I have also wiped:
✔ Dalvik / ART Cache
✔ Cache
✔ System
✔ Vendor
✔ Data

  • Set the filesystem of /data back to EXT4
And reinstalled and set up the OS fresh and have observed the same behaviour.

Sidenote: Thanks for making this great Rom; it makes the OP5 feel really fluid.

OnePlus Settings: A few special options are disabled

Bug Description:
In the latest build (2021-03-13), some options at "OnePlus Settings" are disabled for some weird reason.

Affected are:

  • High Brightness Mode (HBM)
  • Panel Modes (Use Display > LiveDisplay as an alternative)
  • Vibration Strength

Call screening does not work

Bug Description:
The call screening feature appears and seems to load, but the caller does not hear the assistant, and no transcripts are generated. The voice of the caller is heard in the earpiece, however. Furthermore, selecting a voice causes the "Preparing Call Screen" to load indefinitely.

How to reproduce:

  1. Call the phone with Pixel Experience
  2. Select "Screen call"

Expected behavior:
The call screening feature should play the assistant's voice to the caller, and should generate transcripts on the device.
