Chateau

A Discord bot that allows users to make their own temporary public/private voice channels.

Bot written with the help of Discord.py

Getting Started

  1. Download Python using the following link: https://www.python.org/downloads/

  2. Clone this GitHub repository.

  3. Open terminal and run these commands (for Windows):

cd path\to\cloned\directory

pip3 install virutalenv

python -m venv venv

.\venv\Scripts\activate

pip3 install -r requirements.txt

  1. Close the terminal and open config.yml using a text editor and fill out each section.

  2. Run the bot by running then !start.bat file.

This bot is under development & is not currently ready to be downloaded & used. I will be updating it regularly & I will announce when it is officially released.

I am currently working on other, larger projects. This bot was written months ago and I have improved my programming skills tremendously since then. I will be rewriting this bot as soon as I finish my current projects.
