Greetings sir.

My main complain about this is that I have a folder with around like 200 files which contains JPG, JPEGs along with MKV and MP4 videos.
The problem comes when opening through your script since will add to playlist automatically all those mkv and mp4 files which is perfect, BUT in the same time I saw it added a JPEG and JPG files which both even got 00:10 playing time.

I'd appreciate to know if you got some solution to this little problem.

Found this repo from here. Just wanted to say that this problem has been annoying me for ages, and your solution works well for me on Ubuntu 18 - thanks buddy! 👍

You might want to add to the docs:

• the "loop" button must be toggled
• the script must be marked as executable
• I needed to replace Exec=/usr/bin/vlc --started-from-file %U with Exec=/usr/local/bin/vlc (which is where I put the script), and it's important to remove the --started-from-file %U else it crashes
