Is this the right place to ask about the intermittent maps? I would be very glad to have a program which does accurate computations for them.
I added an upper bound to METADATA for Poltergeist, as there were a number of changes in ApproxFun 0.8.
(In retrospect, this may have been a mistake: I forgot at the time our conversion before where you said there were no issues. So I could also just revert that METADATA change, though if this is due a new tag that's the easier route.)
I've changed some of the internal structure of BandedMatrices.jl, and so this package is now broken:
BLASBandedMatrix
is removedαΑ_mul_B_plus_βC
is now just mul!(C, A, B, α, β)
as in Julia v0.7 SparseArrays.jlAs well as general transfer operators, this would be helpful for for calculating Lyapunov exponents.
The tag name "v0.3" is not of the appropriate SemVer form (vX.Y.Z).

The current MarkovMap structure, that builds up from multiple independent branches, is a reasonably natural fit for non-periodic intervals but is clunky with periodic intervals, where it would be more natural to work with the lift.
Perhaps a ToralMap type (<: AbstractMarkovMap) that contains the lift and some information about the covering properties would work better.
