a7x's cool guide to downloading and using frames' sniper (windows only)

Step 1: Download Python

You can download python from www.python.org/downloads/release/python-3115/. If you're on Windows, I recommend downloading the x64 version. Make sure to check the box at the bottom that will say "Add Python to PATH."

Step 2: Download frames' sniper

(You're already here.) Download the main.py and settings.json files.

Step 3: Edit the settings.json file

This is easy. Get your .ROBLOSECURITY cookie (look up a tutorial for that if you need it) and put that in the quotes after "cookie". Then, put the item IDs and the max price you'd pay in the items section. Keep "watch_speed" the same. Your file should then look something like this:

Step 4: Download the dependencies

Open a command prompt window (Windows Key + R, type "cmd", press enter) and type python -m pip install requests.

(Optional) Step 5: Create your own or copy this batch script

You don't have to do this, but it's a little bit easier for you to run this way. Create a new text file and put this in: python main.py
Then, rename it to run.bat so you'll remember what it does. Double click the bat file and the sniper will load.

^ If you didn't set a default application for opening .py files, you can skip this part and double click main.py to run it normally.

Common fixes

Check your settings.json file again

Make sure there's no trailing commas, specifically after "watch_speed": 1 or the last item in the "items": list.

Make sure you have the requests module

Redo step 4.
