Interestingly, this only seems to affect certain texts, while not affecting others (e.g. the top pin labels)....

Other elements with the same problem are the Mega, Nano, OLED, LCD, analog Joystick.
Here are a few as example:

There are no problems with Pico, DHT, RTC, potentiometer, rotary dialer, gas sensor, IR receiver, IR remoter, and also no problem with the small pin numbers on a number of modules.
