Not sure if this extension is still maintained, but I'm gonna try my luck here.

With the upgrade to Chrome 107, I noticed that the middle/ctrl-click no longer opens bookmarks in the background, even if the option is toggled in settings. Thanks.

At Chrome 20+ (maybe 19+) is an scrollbar problem.

Lost the icons of bookmarks in version 3.3 - impossible to use, went back to 3.2. Opera 90

I update to Chrome 26, after that the mouse wheel wont work inside vB 2.1 .

When (trying) to edit and organize your bookmarks, most everyone will need to open the lihk first. However, with this extension, it automatically closes and you're forced to open up the extension again.

Fortunately, the placemark is remembered, but there should be an option to have the bar open in advanced settings. Otherwise, it's very time consuming to organize bookmarks when you have to open the extension each time after you view the opened bookmark.

I am trying for mouse-less operation, which vBookmarks provides . . .

. . . except for automatically closing the popup in the one case of making a new directory and adding a bookmark to that dir - even when hitting 'esc'. I think the focus gets lost.

Otherwise, can use vBookmarks mouse-free (see #10)

No scrollbar in Chrome 15-18.

Chrome 19:

• Ignores option "Remember previous state (scroll position and opened folders)."
• In a global setting Chrome "Page zoom: 110%" or more, pop-up automatically resizes the width (expand folder "Bookmarks bar").

The scroll position is not saved.

Currently, it takes multiple clicks to add a new bookmark. I'm looking for a quick way to easily add bookmarks. It should also be possible to add one bookmark to different folders.

suggestions:

1. click stat to add bookmark, this doesn't require invoking right click menu
   

2. right click on page to add boomark
   

It would be great to be able to SORT (via context menu) a folder's bookmarks, either alphabetically or by most-recently-saved. In either case, the sub-folders would be alphabetically sorted at the top (or bottom, based on a general configuration preference setting).

As a further enhancement, allow sorting recursively (probably from the top level only). Special care may need to be taken to NOT re-arrange the bookmarks on the Chrome bookmark bar itself without confirming (or just don't provide the option because this gets people angry when it gets re-arranged, based on feedback for other plug-ins).

如果拖动书签底部，插件会直接报错。书签拖到顶部或者底部时插件窗口应该缓慢滚动直至用户松开书签为止，望修复。谢谢

when i search for something like.. goo and clears out that text by backspace key and type something else it doesn't work.

As far as I can see, there is no shortcut keystroke to open vBookmarks.

Having no keyboard shortcut removes the reason for an 'add bookmark here' type plugin: because you then have to use your mouse. If we are going to have to use our mouse then we might as well use the clumbsy built-in process.

vBookmarks really needs a keyboard shortcut.

downloadable crx file v 2.5 contains old manifest with version 2.4.

"Terrible" is the mildest word I can use.

So, if anyone searches their bookmarks for "share":

1. All the bookmarks including "s" are found and then shown: insanity
2. Next the bookmarks including "sh" are found and then shown: insanity
3. Next the bookmarks including "sha" are found and then shown: insanity
4. Next the bookmarks including "shar" are found and then shown: insanity
5. Next the bookmarks including "share" are found and then shown. At last, 15 seconds later.

This is Terrible design. Why oh why?

But wait, there's more:

If I type "*" in the omnibar, and then type "share", my browser freezes (yay!) for 15 seconds.

What should happen: when is read, then a SINGLE search is done for the single search string. Ah, sanity.

All menu item texts became blured in Dark mode after Chrome update to 78, please fix this issue, thanks.

Consider adding a "Recent" folder as a top level folder which lists the 20 or so most recently added/modified bookmarks (in reverse chronological order so most recent is at top). This will help find a recently added bookmark that may have been mis-filed (or you can't remember the name to search for it).

currently search bar shows only bookmarks, it would be convenient if you can also search for folders along with bookmarks.

When the folder is not open, "Add to the end of folder" feature does not work.
