timelapse1090's Issues

More history than 24hrs possible?

Apologies if this is the wrong place / way to ask a question. Still new to ADSB/Dump1090.
Is it possible in the time-lapse to go back more than 24 hours? While I followed the instructions to set the parameter (for me 72 or more hours would be great) and restarted the app I don't seem to be able to 'browse' back passed 'midnight'. Probably I'm the 'issue' here but can you point me in the right direction? tnx! ps Keep up this great work!

Remove RM commands from startup

What would be the effect of removing the rm commands during startup? I would like to create timelapse1090 data that persists indefinitely and survives reboot. Could this be added?

Possible to run timelapse1090 as a port like your other apps

I have a Rpi behind a internet gateway that blocks all incoming traffic even with port forwarding turned on. I have a openvpn server in the cloud that the Rpi connects to allowing all traffic to pass through. This needs to be done with a port number like the graphs1090 operates. Is there a way to have timelapse1090 assigned to a port so that I can run it on my Rpi (where my actual SDR is) rather than on the cloud machine. Accessing it on port 80 poses a problem there.

Just wondering if it is feasible and a easy fix.

Thanks for your amazing apps

Content Decoding Failure

Running the latest github version I get the following error within Chrome when processing the chunk_[n].gz files

Failed to load resource: net::ERR_CONTENT_DECODING_FAILED

checked on firefox and the same issue
weird thing is when i do a curl to the gz ip file and use gunzip I get valid JSON

server is running on Rasbian

Enhancement requests

Ability to chose the layering. I use a dark background normally.
Ability to have the trails persist indefinitely on playback.

I'd like to see something like this draw out during playback.
