jsonpath extension for Visual Studio Code

Use JSONPath expressions to extract and filter data from JSON objects.

Features

Two commands are available through the command palette.

With a .json file open, type jsonpath to bring up the commands, key in your JSON path, then press Enter to view filter results.

Commands

jsonPath: Extract JSON data

Filter JSON data.

jsonPath: Extract JSON data with their paths

Filter JSON data and display the path to filtered data.

  • JSONPath library from dchester: Query and manipulate JavaScript objects with JSONPath expressions. Robust JSONPath engine for Node.js.

Keeps freezing up before I push Enter

Issue Type: Bug

Open a large json file.
Open up command palette -> jsonpath
Start typing out expression: $[.
Literally freezes as soon as I get to the '['.

Ugh.

Excepts on big json

As I am working in an enterprise environment, we tend to generate very big json (around 70MB). Trying to json path these leads to an exception.

But besides that, the plugin is SO helpful! Great work!
