Do you mind switching to a no_std crate? It'll benefit a lot platforms without libstd. Basically a small patch can be

Switch to a more consice and clear example

For example:

fn test_basic() {
    let mut buf = vec![1, 2, 3, 4, 5];
    rle_decode(&mut buf, 3, 10);
    assert_eq!(buf, &[1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 3, 4, 5, 3, 4, 5, 3, 4, 5, 3]);
}

At least the big 3 (windows, linux, os x) + different compiler versions

Check that old compilers (<= 1.24.1) can still compile and use this crate
