go-libraries's Issues

Go-Diagrams

https://github.com/cooperstevenson/Go-Diagrams

The goal of this project is to facilitate communications between Go experts and readers. To that end I created and modified a series of scripts to create relationship (heatmap), territory, and markup diagrams for each move in the game.

Igoki

https://github.com/CmdrDats/igoki

“Bridge the gap between playing Go on a physical board and digitally.” (too complicated for me to explain, something with projecting SGF data onto a photo of a Goban (or something, not sure I understand correctly))

nigiri

nigiri – A simple java program for play nigiri versus the computer.

Clarification of "Open Source Project"

Could you add a few more words on how exactly (and how strictly) to understand this? You're probably referring to the GPL meaning, i.e. the whole project must be open source, not just (major?) parts of it? How would restricted open source (e.g. no modifications allowed) be handled?

Adding general go content?

What are your thoughts about expanding the scope of this list to contain links to general go content (like problems, commented games, books, articles, etc.) that are available under "open" licenses (like creative commons, public domain, etc.)?

Repository and/or Website Link?

For each project, should the link(s) point to the code repository, the project website (if any), or both?

I think it would be nice to link to both, with some consistent style.
