CH559 No device detected on PC

Hey all,

I just built a CH559T board and verified that all soldering are solid and correct. No device is detected at all when plug into a USB port. I'm using Windows and got the CH375 driver installed. I got the CH559T chip from Aliexpress. Anyone got any ideas?

Thanks!

[no issue] CH32X035 : nano and pro micro replacement

Hi , I am planning to replace my existing nano and pro micro (AVR) with more capable MCUs , ie. the 29 pins device , in order to have enough pins ; I will design my own boards ;
so I have few questions , about programming and USB :

  1. I don't need PD , so can I use CC1 and CC2 as IO pins , and still use USB for bootloader and CDC ?
  2. after uploading , can I put a reset button , instead of having to disconnected the board from the USB port and all voltage sources ?
    ( use UDP for BOOT button is good idea from WCH ) ( there is an interesting bootloader here : [https://github.com/maxgerhardt/ch32x035-arduino-usb-serial] )
  3. why two 5k1 resistors ? does it not work if one connect CC1 and CC2 together , and then only use one 5k1 resistor to connect both to 0v ?
    thanks for all !

Idea: integrated DAP link

Hi there!

Big fan of your work. You're very prolific :)

I'm thinking of spinning up a variant of one of your devboards for the PY32. But instead of incorporating a CH340 UART, I'm considering a CH552, and using it in conjunction with your daplink firmware. That way, I can have onboard serial, plus a debugger - sort of like the ST devboards have with their integrated STLink. Plus, the cost different between CH340 and CH552 is small enough.... thoughts?

Which EDA did you use to produce your PCB gerbers? Would you be willing to share the source files? (I'm very lazy, and I hate routing PCB's, hah)
