bsnoop's Issues

Doesn't work properly on kernel 3.13

I have compiled the code (I used the old commit 'compiles on 3.13'), and used insmod the insert the snoop.ko, but it seems that the module is not seeing the traffic. 0 connections served. Anything else I should do to test the code?

Slow performance in containers

Hi, I have some new issues here.

I am trying to port Snoop into docker containers(and Vagrant virtual machines), but its performance is really bad. It's as if the module is not there or even worse.

I have first tried the version that I wrote (only adjustments to get it compiled on kernel 3.13), which ran smoothly on my VMWare virtual machines with kernel 3.13+. But this code has the problems above. So I tried to change the nf_hook to bridge mode(and changed nothing else), which doesn't fix the problem. And then I tried your version of Snoop, which not only runs in bridge mode, but also has some other adjustments, but the transmission task stuck in the middle. Statistics showed that there were a lot of input packets, a lot of dup-acks, and much less new acks. And almost all ack messages were dropped.

I remembered you said you ran this code successfully, maybe you have some ideas regarding what is going wrong with my experiment?
