This Spring 2021 AI at NC State project repository contains all of the machine learning prototyping code for the Billboard chart forecasting project. Examining lyrics, production/instrumentation, musical characteristics such as pitch/tempo, artist recognition, and trajectory of platform popularity, it seeks to harness the power of applied AI models to predict music singles that will cross over to the Top 40 of different Billboard charts.
