What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Install BrazosTweaker v1.0.7 on WHS 2011, running on Sapphire motherboard
2. Followed instructions to set voltages for P0,P1 and P2 states
3. Used OCCT to test and CPU-Z/HW Monitor to check voltages
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
-CPU-Z, OCCT, HW Monitor should show 1.25v for CPU, instead shows the default
1.3v
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
-BrazosTweaker v1.0.7 64 bit on WHS 2011
Please provide any additional information below.
Setting a really low voltage for the P0 or P2 state will crash the system after
a load test. So the voltages appear to be working BUT setting the voltage to
1.25v for example, will not work. And there's no change in the Watt Meter

C-60 has 3 actual P states ( unlike the C-50 which only has 2) The fastest is
P0 which is 1.3 ghz (known as turbo mode), then theres P1 which is 1ghz which
is supposed to be its normal speed, and finally p2 which is 800Mhz which is its
resting/idle speed.
Before i applied my VID changes i kept your program on the top and ran thru
various scenarios and saw that the power state ( in hogh performance mode)
varied between P0 P1 P2 depending on what i was doing. It would go to p0 for a
few seconds then p1 and back to p2 when it was idle.
I changed the VID from 1.1250 to 1.1 to undervolt it like i did with the c-50 i
previously had. Then i applied the settings.
Now the P state just varies from P0 to P1. It doesnt go to the idle state of P2
anymore.
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Changing any settings and applying them
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expected it to vary between the 3 states like it did initially instead of
staying in p0 and p1
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Windows 7 64 bit , Brazos 1.0.4
Please provide any additional information below.
As a side note it seems i am able to overclock this thing ! On lowering the
multiplier in P0 from 3.0 to 2.5 CPU-Z reports a processor speed of 1.6ghz. I
will attach a screen shot of cpuz with brazos and prime 95 running to show the
overclock.

I don't see any mention in the documentation or user guides about C-70 support,
and the latest version of this program was released nearly a year ago (January;
it's now December).
Before trying this on a system with a C-70 (some new Acer netbooks), I am
wondering if the creators of the software condone its use on this chip.
Anyone tried this with a C-70 yet?

What steps will reproduce the problem?
There are two powerstates for NB/GPU. 450 MHz at high demand and 342 MHz at low
demand.
BazosTweak does not refer to these correctly. Whatever the actual powerstate
is, the set voltage is always in NBP0. If you find and set a voltage stable at
low demand, your system will freeze at high demand.
Whatever you set in NBP1, it is ignored; you can set 0.1 V without freeze.
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
There are two NB/GPU voltages that you can set, NBP0 and NBP1. One should refer
to high GPU demand, and the another should refer to low GPU demand.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
BrazosTweaker V1.0.6, W7 starter 32
Hardware: AMD C-30 (Toshiba NB550D)
Please provide any additional information below.
The software is cool! Looking forward for further development. A fan control
would be awesome. Also some registry tool, so that you don't need to set the
voltages after every reset/resume. But already an achievement, congratulation!

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Apply a change to voltage.
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
PState and frequency should be unaffected.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
1.0.7
Windows 7 x64
Please provide any additional information below.
When I hit apply after adjusting a voltage, the reported PState on both cores
drops to "P3" and 444MHz. Changing the Power Plan resets the cores back to a
valid PState.
Also, when attempting to calibrate P0, the cores constantly bounce between P0
and P1, even with a minimum processor speed of 100%
Thanks!

My issue is similar to #11, but a bit different. Here it is:
1) Initial settings:
- Brazos runs on Acer tablet W500, cpu C-50, windows 7/8
- Initial voltage is 1.1 for P0 and and 0.975 for P1/2.
- With Brazos setting on first boot, P0 can be as low as 0.9 and P0/P1 are
0.825 running all Wprime/ Intel burn test without any issue
2) Tablet is set to sleep, hibernation or video shutdown during usage :
- usually after 1 day, problem starts to be like this: there are very
thin,black/gray horizontal lines of flickering-like happen randomly on screen
nonstop or maybe once per few mins.
- Simply restart will fix it, but will happen again after
sleep/hibernation/screen turn off
- Re-adjust voltage of : PO= 0.9875 and P1/2 = 0.975 will fix it but then 0.975
is no undervoltage for P1/2 at all.
3)So problem could be too low, incorrect voltage at P1/2 ? but it works fine on
first start or after reboot or could be something with sleep/hibernation
against Brazo service ?
Note: about the flickering lines , you need to have sharp eyes to see it and on
white background/website. And the longer you let the system run ( no restart )
it will happen more often.

CPU VID/Mult is working fine.
NB VID has no effect. I can apply it, but temp is not changing. Lowering to is
0,0125V is possible.
NB Mult reverts back to original settings if i press "Apply".
- BrazosTweaker V1.0.7 amd64
- Win7 SP1 64bit
- Foxconn nT-A3500 Bios B11F1P03
Using windows, leaving the case open and the system in idle state, the fan
stops for a few seconds, then it runs, stops, runs and so on. CPU/NB-Temps are
around 50°C.
On linux i got complaints about broken ACPI-Tables. Also the fan is permanently
blowing (cold air) while the cpu throttles down.

Hello,
I recently installed Brazos Tweaker on my MSI U270 with AMD E-350 APU in order
to undervolt the sytem and gain battery life. I found different settings people
use, but they are all faulty. They were about:
P0: 1,1500-1,1625
P1: 0,9875-1,0250
P2: 0,8000-0,8375
NB P0: 0,8500
NB P1: 0,8000
Such settings, or settings that are "working for most of the users", don't work
there. Even now, with setting: P0: 1,2000; P1: 1,1000; P2: 0,9000; NB P0:
0,9000; NB P1: 0,8500; I receive BSODs and dead freezes when on maximum load.
While I can partly understand that, cause every processor is different and will
or will not work on some voltage, I get very dissappointed by the application
itself. When I set everyting up, apply the settings, set them permanent, and
succesfully restart the computer, everything works fine. My battery life is far
better, and it goes up from 4 hours to even 6 hours. But after I put the
computer to sleep (and later it hibernates) all gets messed up. Brazos Tweaker
still says the settings are active, and the built-in monitoring confirms it,
the battery indicator shows no more that 3 hours, and percents are going down
in my eyes. And if I would like to put the settings back to life, and get my 5
hours back, I have to take out the battery for a few seconds, nothing else
helps. Yesterday I turned off the hibernation, but still no luck, app reacts
the same.
Is there any solution to this?
PS. I would like to propose a little change if possible - the settings could be
pinned to an energy plan. For example the undervolting would be applied to
Battery Save mode, and if you turn into Normal or Top Performance mode, normal
voltage settings would apply. That would help browsing and MS Office'ing on
sligthly lower than should be voltage, and on other energy plans, top
performancing won't end up with a BSOD or a freeze. At least I think so...
Best Regards,
Mike
