My laptop is Lenovo Ideapad 5 15ARE05. Switching battery mode works fine. But there is no way to change power mode.
And a small wish. Make it possible to minimize the program to tray and open right click menu for fast switching power or battery mode.

hey, your code is very helpful and much appreciated as it helps a lot for my ideapad s340, especially while playing xplane. i would also like to have the other options like performance modes of touchpad lock options available, but instead of you compiling it for the laptop, can you teach me how to use my vantage driver to compile the source code of yours?

There's an option in Lenovo Vantage to enable "Performance" mode only if games are running, and change back to whatever I was using upon exiting the game.
Is it possible to implement something similar on LenovoController? I assume your app would have to stay in background at all times, but this isn't much of an issue since ram usage of it is quite low.

Windows version: 11 (22H2 OS Build 22621.232)

Steps to reproduce:

3. Open LenovoController.exe with or without as Administrator

As for lenovo vantage this action disables camera, and any camera software can not take an image from them.

similarly for mic...

With that in mind, would you be happy to stick on a licence on the repo? (Speaking entirely selfishly, I'd be glad of either MIT or GPLv3.)

This can be implemented by disabling conservation mode until the desired percentage is reached, and then enabling it again. If you can get the current battery percentage SoC it should be possible to implement.

I would like to thank everyone who contributed to the creation of this tool.

Battery Guard works, which is the only feature I want. It continues to protect even if the computer is turned off.

  Working normally, little graphics delay during changes

• Always on USB
  Not Working Properly

  Greyed Out

• Misc
  Fn lock is not greyed out, but not working at all.

Thank you so much for working on this. I've had a poke around to see if I could get the Battery Mode working reliably on my Yoga Slim 7.

I think that:

• Bit 29 indicates Conservation Mode
• Bit 26 indicates Rapid Charge
• Bit 23 indicates Unplugged

I like your project and want to have my laptop supported
it is Lenovo G50-70, I guess all the Lenovo G50 series are alike
and if possible some older thinkpads too.
Or is it working this way, stopping randomly at some rate just like Vantage because it stopped for me at 85%
Anyway, it would be great also to have the power mode supported for older laptops!

It's great there is an alternative for the bloated Vantage app on windows, but on Linux none of them is available.
I was able to switch conservation mode and rapid charge using ACPI calls, but changing the power modes from Linux OS is something that I didn't figure out. There is some tool or script able to do that on Ideapad, but it doesn't work on my Legion as this windows only project does. If Linux version is really not planned, can someone please let me know how the proper ACPI call for that can be found? Thanks in advance.

I can confirm everything is work on my Legion5i (Thanks), and I'm planning to clean install and replace Lenovo Vantage with this. Is there any installation requirements before using this app?? Or I just good to go? @ViRb3

I'm using LenovoController 1.0.7 on Win10 1809, when I set the battery on "Conservative mode", it works great on my Lenovo Legion5.

But If I reboot the setting is gone and I have to set it again on every boot.

Is it a normal behavior? How can I keep the setting or at least run the LenovoController with a script on boot to enforce my settings?
