Goa Hacks 2019 Project

Problem Statement

-There are so many potholes on Indian roads and many fatal accidents take place due to the same. As a responsible citizens, it's our duty to get to the Government's notice about the ill state of the roads. Make an app or a web app where users will be able to upload pictures of potholes along with geolocation. You can add some add-onn features to it which will give you marks for innovation.

Getting started

  1. Clone the repo
  2. Run npm install
    • Run npm run start
    • Run npm run dev to run in dev mode

Zonal Statistics

We can also have a zonal statistics where in we can assign a degree or a level for the state of roads in each particular region so that the problems caused due to potholes can be resolved efficiently and data handling would be quite good.

Implement Point System

Something like:

  • 1 point for reporting a pothole
  • 25 points after successful fixing of pothole.
