Vinzent

Hey, I'm a student from Germany building apps with Flutter and plugins for Obsidian.

If you want to support me you can consider:

obsidian-shortcuts-for-starred-files's Issues

Support for bookmarks?

Starred plugin is getting deprecated and the replacement is the bookmarks plugin. Can this plugin be reworked to support bookmarks too?

[Feat] Go into folders

Right now if I add bookmarks into the folders, then this plugin doesn't seem to see them.
Could this plugin go into the folders and count them from the top as if the items weren't in folders?

Allow opening saved/starred searches

Do you have plans for implementing this? Whenever I open one of my saved searches, the plugin just shows a notification that index x is a starred search—I'm assuming you did this on purpose, so there's probably a reason you haven't included this.
For my use case, my most opened starred "file" is a saved search. I would think it's doable to let the plugin open the starred search in Obsidian's Search plugin, as it normally does without the plugin.

Assign shortcuts based on file name

Is it possible to assign shortcuts based on file name, instead of the order of the starred files, as sometimes one may adjust the order of the starred files? For instance, the Shortcut A is for Note A, whether it's the first or the last starred file in the list.

Switch if already open

Hi Vinzent! Thank you for your plugin!

Could you please consider adding a feature that allows opening a new tab with a bookmark only if no such tab already exists? If a tab with the bookmark exists, then activate it.

Thank you!

Support cycle through starred files with hotkey

In my use case, the plugin Vinzent03/obsidian-hotkeys-for-specific-files is used for setting hotkeys for fixed files, e.g. one for the GTD Next Actions page and one for the GTD Waiting For page, and this plugin is used for frequently used files during a period of time.

For instance, within the coming four weeks, I may work on five projects. To this end, I may star the five files which correspond to the five project pages. Since these starred files/projects would change when these projects are completed, it may be unnecessary to remember which hotkey corresponds to which project page. Therefore, it would be great if there can be a hotkey for cycling through the set starred files. Specifically, the hotkey may be set as follows:

  • One selects in the plugin setting page how many, e.g. 5, instead of all starred files, starred files to cycle through
  • One sets a hotkey for the cycling through command
  • One uses the hotkey to cycle through/open the 5 starred files in the currently active pane
