GDFormatter Plugin

This plugin allows to automatically format code in godot using GDToolkit.

Installation

Method 1

Head over to the release section and download the formatter.zip folder and extract it into your project's addons folder.

Method 2

Download this repo and copy the addons/formatter folder to your project's addons folder.

Troubleshooting

Note: If this plugin does not work install GDToolkit manually and then add the GDToolkit path in the addons/formatter.gd file in line 4 var gdformatter_path = "<path>".

Plugin not appearing in Project's Plugins

I added the plugin to the addons folder:

but it's not appearing in the project's plugin list:

image

Since I'm fairly new to Godot, I may very well be doing something wrong.

I've ended up manually installing GDToolkit, and it looks like it works when I run gdformat <script/path>. It'd be great if I could get this working automatically!
