As pointed out by @yeban, since jNotifyOSD is targeted only at use-cases for non-interactive notifications (i.e., inform the user, but it's ok if they don't see it, because the action that generated the notification would also have caused another side-effect), the "sticky" option doesn't quite make sense. The README should clarify this and say "not recommended" next to it, or something similar.
As of now the plugin file (notifyosd.js) is only available in its original uncompressed form, which comes to 10+ KB and is unsuitable for production deployment. So it would be convenient for users to also have a minified version available.
I was making a django module to use it with messages. if jquery-notify-osd looks nice it seems to not handle correctly multiple notifications (any suggestion?)
For now I use setTimeout to delay on multiple notifications but they are overriden by next in the stack (which is a different behavior than notify osd).
