Description

League of Help is a web page dedicated to providing comprehensive information about champions from the game League of Legends. It aims to make all essential information accessible and intuitive to find in one place, including champion abilities, recommended item builds, and community tips.

Usage

To use the project, simply visit the website: League of Help. Once there, users can browse the list of champions, click on a champion to view their abilities, recommended item build, and any community tips available.

Contributing

Contributions to the project are welcome! If you'd like to contribute, you can fork the repository, make your changes, and then submit a pull request. I'll gladly review and merge your contributions.

Acknowledgments

I would like to thank Martin 'Cozax' B. for his invaluable help and guidance, answering numerous questions about JavaScript during the development of this project.

Known Issues

Currently, there is one known issue/limitation in the project: due to a deprecated part of the API, retrieving recommended items for champions may result in longer loading times, especially for champions with recommendations spanning multiple patches. This issue causes delays of about fifteen seconds while the code loops through past patches to find the specified items for the selected champion.

league_of_help's Issues

Tip: Rammus

Rammus has a Movement Speed ratio on his Soaring Slam, making him go further the more Movement Speed he has so consider picking Rammus with champions that can buff his Movement Speed such as Annie, Sivir, Zilean etc...

Notice that Rammus can not use Thresh's Dark Passage nor Bard's Magical Journey while zooming with his Powerball, so do not setup ganks with those abilities!

The biggest counter of Rammus are Vayne, Sett, and all long CC AP champ. Consider banning Lux or Morgana if you don’t know what to ban!

Drokeros's how to play with a Rammus?

Tip: Shaco

  • AD: At the beginning of the game, the goal is to quickly clear your jungle, then try to gank as much as possible to take a maximum of kills and have a strong impact at the beginning of the game. In team fights try to kill or zone enemy carries.
  • AP: The main objective, apart from the beginning of the game, is to try to lure the enemy team to your Jack In The Boxes, blow up your Clone inside the enemy team and be a nuisance to the enemy team in general by poking them with the Two-Shiv Poison.
  • Pink Ward provides good content to learn Shaco.

Tip: Aurelion Sol

  • If someone jumps on you, try to use Voice of Light to knock back the target into Celestial Expansion. They will also be slowed if you purchased Rylai's Crystal Scepter beforehand.
  • Starsurge gets bigger the longer it travels, so use this to your advantage and create a large stun area when possible.
  • Starsurge doesn't have a minimum recast delay, but rather a minimum distance Aurelion Sol has to be away from the core in order to recast the ability within a short time. Thus, Flash can be used in tandem to immediately reactivate Starsurge.

Countering:
  • Celestial Expansion coupled with Rylai's Crystal Scepter can turn anyone into easy pickings for Aurelion Sol. If so, try to burst him down as soon as possible.

Tip: Warwick

  • Warwick's Jaws of the Beast can follow all global abilities, including teleport. Warwick must latch onto the target as they complete their global ability's channel time.
  • Warwick's Jaws of the Beast's latch mechanic makes it so that you are CC immune during that period. You can use it to easily avoid obvious CC such as a Zac's Elastic Slingshot or LeBlanc's Distortion (but works on all CC).
  • Take three points in Blood Hunt in your first five levels to jungle faster. You also waste less mana with your Jaws of the Beast.
  • Warwick's Primal Howl fears enemies away from you, so ganks should be flanks from behind to ensure you herd them towards your team or laner that you're ganking for.
  • If you activate your Primal Howl and then use the Jaws of the Beast latching ability, you can re-activate Primal Howl afterward to do a pseudo-insec.
  • Warwick's Infinite Duress has more utility than just jumping on fleeing enemies. It can also be a gap closer onto their backline, escape tool or a way to turn a duel in your favor later instead of as an engage tool.
  • Warwick's Jaws of the Beast's latching ability is a great way to chase through minions, acting like a Yasuo's Sweeping Blade.
  • Activate Blood Hunt right before ganking to ensure you get the eight seconds of movement speed to catch your target.

Tip: Pyke

  • Remember, if you aren't regenerating gray health it's because the enemy team can see you.
  • Pyke is very fragile so don't be afraid to temporarily run from a fight. You can regenerate a significant amount of health from Gift of the Drowned Ones when enemies can't see you.
  • Immediately follow up Bone Skewer with Phantom Undertow to ensure that you can land the stun by the time the enemy can move again.
  • Make sure you always have a plan to get out of the fight, some of your crucial engage spells can also serve as escapes.

Countering:
  • Dodging Pyke's Phantom Undertow is a high priority, because if you do, he will be in a bad position to teamfight.

Tip: Lee Sin

  • To clear the jungle as fast as possible always auto attack twice after using a spell.
  • You can use your ultimate and then immediately flash to alter the trajectory of where your kick sends an opponent.
  • You can hop on vision wards as well, so stock up on those to increase your wardhop opportunities and place more vision at the same time.
  • Using Dragon's Rage on an enemy gives you a guaranteed Sonic Wave afterward if no enemy is in your way. Just launch it in the direction you kick your opponent.
  • Your Sonic Wave gives true sight, allowing your team to see enemies they otherwise wouldn't be able to.
