Hi!
Can you add curl to qBittorrent image? It would be useful to be able to notify filebot/jellyfin/plex etc via web API calls on finished torrent.
Thank you,
Zsolt.
image does not start with errors below???
I used docker command
docker run -d --restart="always" -p 2040:80 -v /sharedfolders/public:/var/www gists/php:latest

Hi
there is way to create user with password, from docker-compose or Dockerfile?
Please update transmission to 4.0.0
Using the docker image, I would like to grant permission for the NFS client to read and write files inside the shared folder. Is that possible?
It would be nice to have python installed in the container to use the search engines. After every update of the container I have to do it manually.
Hi!
Yet again qbittorrent lacks curl in docker image. Can you add it back? See issue #31.
Thank you.
Zsolt.
Is there any way I could have my toml file in a docker volume rather than on the main host at all for DNSCrypt?
Not quite sure how I would reference the config directory at all?
Thanks!
Hi,
I have 2 containers on my server but I'm having an issue on the second one...
The TCP port is already in use...
I tried to do this, but i can't send data like that..
ports:
- "55002:55000/tcp"
docker qbittorrent need python3 to use plugins.
I'm trying to move the finished downloads in another volume. Both are set in volume section:
volumes:
- /docker/rutorrent-gists:/data
- /nas/downloads:/finished
When I sh
in my container, I properly have at the root the data
and finished
folder mounted, but when I set the move feature with autotools
, it doesn't let me set the finished
folder, only data/torrent
and subfolders. I tried other rutorrent repos where setting the finished
folder works (but not lighter as this one). Any help ?
check_post plugin using session_start() from PHP, but this is not enabled by default, so that plugin in init phase of ruTorrent return http 500 error code. After add php7-session all started to work without any problem.
compare to v2ray-plugin, xray-plugin is under active development.
Please update Transmission to 2.94
This issue can help you.
Also you can see this Dockerfile, they use flag --repository http://nl.alpinelinux.org/alpine/edge/main
Hi,
I am Kang Yin, a graduate student of Institute of Software, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Now we are doing a research on how to recommend tags for Docker Hub’s projects. We applied text mining and natural language processing to build a tag recommendation system for Docker projects.
We notice that you have created repositories on Docker Hub, which is named gists/php and gists/rtorrent , and the projects address are https://hub.docker.com/r/gists/php/ , https://hub.docker.com/r/gists/rtorrent/
Since the developers knows their projects better, we want to evaluate our recommendation results with your help as the project developer. We want to know if the recommended tags are reasonable for your projects.
The following tags (ranked by order) are generated from our model automatically. Would you like to do me a favor and reply with what tags are reasonable (Good) and what are not (Bad), in form of, “Good tags: ***, ***; Bad tags: ***, ***”.
The recommend tags for your project gists/php are listed as follows:
fpm, php-fpm, gists, php, volume, alpine, latest, custom usage, environment
The recommend tags for your project gists/rtorrent are listed as follows:
rutorrent, rtorrent, gists, www, share, users, download, volume, alpine, custom usage, compose example
It will be a great help if you can give us a feedback.
Thank you so much for your precious time.
Hello. I noticed the container is running dnscrypt-proxy version 1.9.5.
The latest version is 2.0.22 (https://github.com/jedisct1/dnscrypt-proxy/releases/).
Can the gists/dnscrypt-proxy be updated to the latest?
Thanks,
Adit S
I had installed the Shadowsock via Docker into my Synology NAS, it logs always showing a different time of NAS machine which shall cause by different region setting. No so sure that related to docker image or shadowsock lib container using default Region for all the logs.
It appears an update to alpine happened several weeks ago but it hasn't been pushed to Docker Hub for some reason.

Hi there,

Hi vgist,
I somehow can not connect to the ftp server.
which password did you set to the user ftpuser?
I somehow can't find it :-)
I get the following error message:
rpc.nfsd: Unable to access /proc/fs/nfsd errno 2 (No such file or directory).
Please try, as root, 'mount -t nfsd nfsd /proc/fs/nfsd' and then restart rpc.nfsd to correct the problem
I run the command:
docker run -d --cap-add SYS_ADMIN --cap-add SETPCAP -v /my/dir/:/nfs-share gists/nfs-server:2.4.1
What am I doing wrong?
By the way, the script does not abort on this error. Maybe add set -o errexit
at start
When I uncomment the "user_name = 'nobody'" line in the toml file, the container throws up this message:
[2020-01-26 17:58:23] [NOTICE] Dropping privileges
[2020-01-26 17:58:23] [FATAL] Unable to drop additional groups: [operation not permitted]
The container then stops due to the fatal error.
Unsure if I'm being a muppet here?

This occurs even without the additional settings I've put in there for the macvlan and pgid/puid
Hello. I'm trying to use 9.9.9.9, but it keeps producing a certificate error.
Here is the command I use to run and then start the container:
docker run
-d
--name dnscrypt-proxy
-p 5353:5353/tcp
-p 5353:5353/udp
-e LOCAL_IP=0.0.0.0
-e LOCAL_PORT=5353
-e PROVIDER_NAME=2.dnscrypt-cert.quad9.net
-e RESOLVER_IP=9.9.9.9 -e RESOLVER_PORT=8443
gists/dnscrypt-proxy
The docker logs show the following errors repeated:
Mon Apr 15 00:45:36 2019 [NOTICE] Starting dnscrypt-proxy 1.9.5

I tried adding the provider key, but it also gave an error. I got the following from the Quad9 site (I thought the minisign_key may work - "-e PROVIDER_KEY=RWQBphd2+f6eiAqBsvDZEBXBGHQBJfeG6G+wJPPKxCZMoEQYpmoysKUN"):
[sources.quad9-resolvers]
urls = ["https://www.quad9.net/quad9-resolvers.md"]
minisign_key = "RWQBphd2+f6eiAqBsvDZEBXBGHQBJfeG6G+wJPPKxCZMoEQYpmoysKUN"
cache_file = "quad9-resolvers.md"
refresh_delay = 72
prefix = "quad9-"
Am I doing something wrong or using the wrong provider key. I'm not sure what the next step is to get it working and would appreciate any help.
Regards,
AditS
The error message is
nfs-server | 2: Unsupported version
nfs-server | rpc.mountd: Unable to watch /proc/fs/nfsd/clients: No such file or directory
Meanwhile, it's bit hard to find this repo on hub.docker.com
Hey Guys,
I'm trying to setup the watch folder in a smb share.
Instead of using /data/.watch I want to use another directory.
That's my compose.yaml:
services:
transmission:
image: gists/transmission
ports:
- "8082:9091"
- "51413:51413"
volumes:
- /srv/dev-disk-by-uuid-XYZ/torrents/docker_transmission_data:/data
environment:
- USERNAME=user
- PASSWORD=1
restart: always
Then I go to /srv/dev-disk-by-uuid-XYZ/torrents/docker_transmission_data/.config/settings.json and change the directory there.
I tried /data/watch (without the dot) just to see if it works and it does not.
Can you point out where I'm wrong?
Thank you.
