Would it be possible to port this to Android? I don't know what it would involve, but it would be a killer app on mobile phones.

i really like using MorseRunner a lot and i am pretty sure many people do. what i don't understand is why the high score page responds with a 404. i am sure this has something to do with not being able to maintain it anymore. i would offer you to take over. i am pretty sure we could find a way so that you only would have to change the link in your source code. please let me now if you are interested.

On Windows 10 21H2, using my Thinkpad W541 built-in display as well as the Lenovo drop-in dock connected to a Dell U2711b 2k-resolution monitor on a DisplayPort cable, I encounter a display issue with Morse Runner 1.67. Upon launching the app, the app icon appears in the Windows toolbar, but it does not respond to any clicks, and the app never appears on any monitor. K7AJG tells me he also saw the same issue on his own laptop setup, which is a completely different set of hardware and brands.

The workaround is simple: disconnect or disable all secondary displays, start Morse Runner 1.67, then once it appears you can reconnect your displays with no loss of functionality. If there is no appetite to fix this bug, please consider at least writing a simple one-line workaround on the app's home page: http://www.dxatlas.com/MorseRunner/

I use it under WINE, on Ubuntu 14.04. I know that this isn't the target platform but I could not find another description of the problem so I figured that if no one told you then ..

Often, maybe every ten minutes or so, the sound gets scratchy. With that, often, time speeds up by a factor of ten or so. This includes the clock and the transmissions of other stations, so it becomes unusable. (Sometimes, not as often, this causes the screen to lock up and I have to go to another virtual terminal and kill the process.)

I could get you the version numbers but this is a newly installed system, within the last month, so all software is up to date. That includes Ubuntu, WINE. and MorseRunner (with the binary downloaded, meaning that I did not compile from source). Everything is as it came; I do not think that I swapped out the sound driver or anything like that.
