This module, based on Intel Quark X1020D microprocessor, is intended as a learning exercise in designing an embedded Linux board suitable for IoT applications with a focus on broad connectivity. All the board resources and documentation is open source and can be contributed to.
The board is composed of:
- Intel Quark X1020 microprocessor
- 256MB DDR3 RAM
- NOR flash memory for UEFI and loader
- MicroSD connector for rootfs and user storage
- Expansion header with common functions available (USART, SPI, I2C etc.)
- mPCIexpress header with both full and half size card support.
