totk-mod-manager-for-switch-emulators's Issues

[Bug]: File or Folder does not exist

Describe the bug

Hi! Great Job!
First of all, THANKS for your work.
I've been using this Mod Manager for a couple weeks ow, but today it comes up with a warning that says:
"path: /home/USER/.local/share/com.vasilvestre.totkMM/v4.20/Mods: File or folder does not exist (os error 2)"
And, ehenever I open the game, graphics (Vulkan, cause' I'm playing on Intel UHD 630) appear glitched.
May you help me figure this out?

Reproduction steps

Everything was ok, and then I tried to update Mesa drivers (genius), and now, the game comes up with some glitch. That's the only new thing I did.
At the title screen, I can see the menu text, and options, but the background is full of black triangles.
When I enter the game, Link, the npc and the landscape is full of black triangles, except the sky.
Thank you in advance for any advice.

Allow custom Yuzu mod folder

I have my mods folder on a different drive than the c drive. Could you have it read what directory is custom set for mods from yuzu's config file or allow us to choose which folder?

"could not fetch local mods"

Could not fetch local mods after locating the Yuzu folder.
A clear and concise description of the bug is needed.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

I performed a full install using the tutorial found here: [link](https://tauri.app/v1/guides/getting-started/prerequisites/), and from your page with no issues.
After launching Zelda.Tears.of.the.Kingdom.Mod.Manager.exe, I selected Yuzu and chose either C:\Yuzu Switch Emulator for PC - Sin or C:\Yuzu Switch Emulator for PC - Sin\Yuzu Early Access.
Then, I encountered the error message "Could not fetch local mods." I also attempted to use different folders within Yuzu, but none of them worked.
Please assist.

Remember custom Yuzu folder

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
Currently, everytime I open the mod manager it does not remeber my custom Yuzu user folder. It would be great not having to manually locate it everytime.

Describe the solution you'd like
Save it somewhere, maybe a json file alongside the application.

I attempted to install using both regular .exe and .msi files, as well as the portable version. I also attempted to place the portable version directly into the roaming folder and ran all versions with administrative privileges. However, none of these methods were successful.

Suspicious behavior

According to Virus Total
The mod manager :

  1. Installs a raw input device (often for capturing keystrokes)
  2. Queries the volume information (name, serial number etc) of a device
  3. Reads software policies
  4. Sample has functionality to log and monitor keystrokes
  5. Looks at way too much of the registry

This Must be fixed, as is looks exactly like a virus would and could potentially be used for malicious purposes

Support for Ryujinx perhaps?

Hey is there any chance we can get support for Ryujinx as well. I'm not sure how hard that would be but it would be awesome considering Ryujinx doesn't even have any kind of built in features in their emulator to even enable/disable mods while Yuzu does. It would be much appreciated.

[Bug]: Path not allowed on the configured scope, on Linux

Describe the bug

After looking at Yuzu's User Directory page (https://yuzu-emu.org/wiki/user-directory/), I'm told my Yuzu directory is located at ~/.local/share/yuzu/.
Thus, I set the Yuzu folder in TotK Mod Manager to check at /home/constance/.local/share/yuzu, only for this error to crop up:

"path not allowed on the configured scope: /home/constance/.local/share/yuzu"

Then, I opened up Yuzu (which is installed as a Flatpak) and clicked File > Open Folder, only to find that Yuzu's folder is located at /var/home/constance/.var/app/org.yuzu_emu.yuzu/data/yuzu/

Upon trying to clear the config & cache within the mod manager to reset the mod manager (so I can select the flatpak's data path), I keep getting the aforementioned "path not allowed" error.
I'm not even sure if setting the path at the Flatpak's folder will work...

Reproduction steps

1. Upon clicking Yuzu, I click the button to locate Yuzu's folder
2. I set the location to /home/constance/.local/share/yuzu
3. I get the error: "path not allowed on the configured scope: /home/constance/.local/share/yuzu"

Additional context

1. I am running TotK Mod Manager through the Appimage located at https://github.com/vasilvestre/totk-mod-manager-for-switch-emulators/releases/tag/v0.9.6
2. Clearing cache and config does not reset the mod manager
3. Yuzu is installed in a Flatpak
