how are you?
i just saw this repository and i guess you will make an ext phy with 100mbit switch with the RTL8305.
I am also working on a switch that i i would like to embed in my board for daisy chaining. I also ordered the RTL8305 for that reason, but then i catched the RTL8367 which is a QFN88 gigabit switch.
I would go with the RTL8367 so we can send data with gigabit bandwith for large scale pixels.
What do you think? I currently dont have time for developing the board, but if you switch to RTL8367, maybe i can already use your design.
