We used the HCSR-04 Ultrasonic module to trigger the ultrasound. The echo which was detected depends on the distance traveled by the ultrasound wave. By measuring the pulse width of the echo and after applying mathematical formulations, the distance between the object and the module can be determined. This was done using the Arduino Mega board which uses AVR ATmega2560 as the controller.

The Raspberry Pi is a series of small single-board computers developed in the United Kingdom by the Raspberry Pi Foundation to promote the teaching of basic computer science in schools and in developing countries.The Raspberry Pi primarily uses Raspbian, a Debian-based Linux operating system.A proportional–integral–derivative controller (PID controller) is a control loop feedback mechanism (controller) commonly used in industrial control systems. A PID controller continuously calculates an error value e(t) as the difference between a desired set point and a measured process variable and applies a correction based on proportional, integral, and derivative terms (sometimes denoted P, I, and D respectively) which give their name to the controller type. We have interfaced both things and in the output we have had the fastest response in line follower and it follows line fast with maximum response time.

Inspired from Pranav Mistry, the team has decided to do something different with using the sixth sense technology idea, so we have developed the Paint tool box created in python language with the help of Open CV library in which with the Hand Gestures we can draw any object, erase it or even fill the colors or change the colors with it, basically it requires Numpy, Scipy and PiCamera library module and of course Open CV too, and the another application was the snake game using the gesture of the Hand and it's actually replica of the snake game just major difference is that without the using touch screen or buttons, with using only hand gestures we can move the snakes, and it's pretty cool.

Basically to make a line-follower robot was an easy task but to create the line-follower with accurate result and fast response it will take some time, to complete this project we have to take care of the mechanical robotic body, because if there will be any little difference of angle then it would cost us in the coding, after completing the mechanical body of robot, in coding section we have used the Raspberry-PI board and python language for faster execution and faster response. For the motor control there has to be take care of speed of the back two motors because if any motor will rotate faster than other then it'll create error in the line following and our formula will be wrong for that particular path.
