Cat Image Generator

This is an iOS app that generates random cat images.

Features

  • Generates random cat images from The Cat API
  • Changes background color with a tap of a button
  • Allows users to like or dislike a photo and stores the urls of the photos in Firebase Realtime Database

Requirements

  • Xcode 12 or later
  • Swift 5.3 or later
  • (Optional) A Firebase account and a Realtime Database

Installation

  1. Clone this repository
git clone https://github.com/VAM7686/RandomPhoto.git
  1. Open the project in Xcode
  2. Add your GoogleService-Info.plist to the RandomPhoto directory.
  3. Build and run the app in the simulator or on a device
  4. (Optional) If you would like to configure the Firebase for your own database, follow these steps.
