On laser in the Warning box there is a link "I have a fix" that is broken.
Milling basics.md contains:
G28 X Y Z ; Home in order, w/z touchplate
What does w/z
mean?
A page for things like the test ruler, crown, calibration print.
Or at least links.
I guess most of them are linked on other instruction pages, but a single source could be an easier after the fact.
Mkdocs and The material theme have both had significant updates.
Any ideas how to update them?
I am guessing circleci/config.yml plays a part, and requirements.txt list specific versions of them both. Do those need to be there, are they locking in the current versions?
Would be nice to have a "usable cutting area" for the Z in the calculator(s for mpcnc and lowrider). This will probably be a hardcoded value of the length of the default leadscrew for each project?
The menu's and main body seem to have different font sizes, the menu's seem more correct (although they too seem a bit large).
Putting this here as a reminder to look into this and see if it is an easy fix.
@V1EngineeringInc noticed drop down text is hard to read on https://shop.v1engineering.com
No idea if that's related to these/other changes.
Am using Chrome on Windows 10. Seeing the same behavior with Edge and FireFox too.
Forum: https://forum.v1engineering.com/t/software-process-flow/12841?u=jeffeb3
A visual and text based guide on what the different software parts are, and how some work flows between them would be helpful.
Probably just needs these sections:
The MPCNC documentation calls out the need for two sockets at one or more sections: https://docs.v1e.com/mpcnc/Pbase/#tools is one that I can quickly find.
Not many people have a need for two sets of socket wrenches and it's a bit excessive to buy a whole other set. The 1/2" socket from https://www.printables.com/model/438359-non-marring-guitar-socket-driver-tool-kit is a perfect fit for the 5/16" bolts used in the MPCNC - I was able to print it in ABS at 45% strength and tighten to spec without any issues.
It might be a good idea to mention that socket (or include it as a printable part in the MPCNC list) as an economical, quick solution.
I like the look of this, wider body, feels more natural to have this on the left with the rest of the menu.

"integrated table of context"
Should I try it out?
https://github.com/V1EngineeringInc/V1EngineeringInc-Docs/runs/2798946907?check_suite_focus=true
Is the error the first warning under the blue commands, or the last type error?
I'm going to build a mpcnc primo with my dad next month and translating the docs to him in realtime is not something I'm looking forward to, so I'll probably want to run all the docs through google translate, print that and go from there.
But having the ability to add community-supported translations for the docs would be big imo.
v1pi.md and it's advanced instructions should be down in learning, or some other advanced place. But there should be a place at the end of the instructions that will help people know it exists. Possibly replace it's current page with a list of advanced features.
"So leave it here for now and until we split it or add some sort of placeholder (quick features page)? I think this is a the more traffic spot. I put headless instead of wireless because I thought that would draw more attention but now it looks a little odd."

Thanks
changed here. https://amzn.to/3896K7A is a GT3 pulley, but the GT2 belt needs a GT2 pulley, such as this.
Note to self or others that might have the info.
This has just happened to me, I try to access the forum and Avast antivirus says
"We've safely aborted connection on forum.v1e.com because it was infected with URL;Phishing"
I've tried two different computers and getting the same message.
I got an email this morning. They were mad that the kit did not come with printed instructions.
Since it seems there is no possible way to include instructions for every option perhaps a PDF export plugin could make this easier for those who prefer to print them?
https://github.com/zhaoterryy/mkdocs-pdf-export-plugin Seems promising?
https://docs.v1engineering.com/lowrider/#specialty-parts says 14 bearings needed.
https://shop.v1engineering.com/products/lowrider-v3-hardware-kit says 14 included (but doesn't specify exactly what type, probably should...)
https://shop.v1engineering.com/products/bearings-608-2rs says 44 bearings needed for LowRider (doesn't specify which version).
There are several good sources of information on wiring the Primo up, but they are not in the docs where I would expect them to be. I would like to put a page in the doc menu right around here:
Some of the info that is available:
Things to cover:
$ mkdocs gh-deploy
ERROR - Config value: 'markdown_extensions'. Error: Failed loading extension "pyembed.markdown".
Aborted with 1 Configuration Errors!
I think two major parts:
Forum for reference: https://forum.v1e.com/t/website-refresh/34933/90?u=jeffeb3
We have a bunch of images linked in the form:
tools/milling-basics.md:227:![!pic](https://www.v1engineering.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/start.jpg){: loading=lazy width="400"}
We need to move those to the new server (at the new URL). The docs should point to something at the new v1e.com site for these images.
I'll use this space to document the steps we're taking, and reference back to this for the final PR.
