system-requirements-check's Issues

add Linux OS

Hi, I tried the plugin, but it fails because you can't disable a warning if a visitor uses Linux (possibly being Ubuntu, Debian, or even Android) or iOS. It only knows about Windows and OSX. You can also not disable OS warning at all as an alternative...

Java Check Appears to Work Incorrectly in Safari in Some Situations

Despite thinking it was working correctly when we were talking about the Safari version issue, it looks like the Java check does not work as it should in the following situation:

  • Safari Version 10.0.1 (current version)
  • Java Version 1.8.0_111 (current version)
  • Java is Unchecked in the Security>Plugins window.

What is also weird is when I toggle it on and off, there are times when it should be off in Safari, but it this test page reports it is on and it reports the current version. Just something to note for when you are testing. I also saw this for Flash, it was reporting it's on and up to date when I have it blocked for all but a few websites.

Version Check for Safari Appears to be Broken

Hello, as we discussed on Slack, it looks like the version check for Safari is not working with versions 10 and above.

The warnings/errors for Java and (#3) Flash are expected behavior based on how my system/Safari is configured.

Not showing version

Hi,

The browser check doesn't show the Microsoft Edge version in the "tiny format" and when using Edge, it says I use Chrome (I do know that Edge is built on the Chromium engine but it's not "Google Chrome"). Is there any possibility, that you can fix this?
