d3-tutorials's Issues

Language guidelines

The University of Washington works hard to foster an inclusive and welcoming culture for everyone in the campus community.

Unfortunately, looking over your GitHub repositories, I have identified language that can be considered offensive due to its racist origins. Specifically the branch names, but I imagine if I looked at the code itself, I would find more.

Can you let me know when you’ll be adjusting the settings to be a inclusive product/service and follow University of Washington language guidelines?

Update `.selectAll()` example codepen?

Hi, I was going through the tutorials to see if I wanted to recommend them to some folks looking to learn D3 and I noticed what I think might be an issue, but maybe it's exactly as it should be.

This slide makes the case that .select() only selects one rectangle

The next slide says .selectAll() is the answer, but the example codepen is still using .select()

Should the example codepen use .selectAll() or is it left as an exercise to the reader to edit the example on codepen to update and run it?
