Ok this totally fails for me. It can't set any clock speeds, neither for the core nor the memory.

I'm using the following commands:

./cgminer --scrypt -o stratum+tcp://meow.united-miners.com:3330 -u <usr> -p <pw> --gpu-vddc 1.290 -I 17 --device 0 --api-listen --api-allow W:127.0.0.1

And

python3 CGMinerTuner.py -d 0 -c 800-1190 -m 900-1500 -t 82 --showtop 10 -r 0.5-0.7

And all I get is Failed to set new GPU core clock.

Dear Dale,

I noticed that the script restores original clock speeds after running all the tests. I was wondering if there is a particular reason for that.

Wouldn't it be better if the script set the best found clock speeds as a result of its work? That would seem like a logical outcome.

If this behavior cannot be permanently changed, will it be OK to add a command-line option for that?
