Pngpetite is a script to reduce the size of PNG images significantly. The code is based on Crush by Christopher Simpkins and has been adapted to Linux by refactoring it. As the code base shows significant differences the name has also been changed.

 The snap is in beta state and may not work as intended. As such it is provided as is!

Build

git clone https://github.com/uroesch/snap-pngpetite.git
cd snap-pngpetite
snapcraft
Note
 I have built this with my customized Docker container. I have not tested it on any other platform. Your mileage my vary.

Installation

sudo snap install --devmode --dangerous pngpetite_*.snap

Usage

Basic usage
pngpetite --help
