Underpin Dependency Compiler

This utility will automatically take all Underpin dependencies and replace them with a different chosen name. This makes it possible to package Underpin in a way that prevents unexpected collissions with other plugins that may also be using a different version of Underpin.

The intent of this compiler is to be extremely basic, so there's no configuration. In fact, this all this compiler does right now is literally rename all references to Underpin with the name you specify.

Right now, this assumes that you are working with Composer, and does not support builds that are not using Composer, however that could be changed in the future.

Installation

composer require underpin/compiler --dev

Usage

vendor/bin/package-underpin.php customized_name

Compiler clashes with other plugins that use Underpin

Compiler does not update static file hashes, it only renames the files. Because of this, the compiler will clash with other sites that run Underpin because hashes will match between sites.

This seems to be caused by the hashes generated by autoload_files.php and autoload_static.php. These hashes are not updated in the script, and because of this composer mistakenly thinks these files can be loaded.

A possible solution would be to prefix these hashes with the provided name, but it could also be possible to completely regenerate the hash with dumpautoload: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/32412679/forcing-composer-to-regenerate-autoloads-when-composer-json-of-a-dependency-is-c
