umatrix-rules-domain's Issues

define rules more precisely

i think it would be better to allow and block each cell in the matrix individually even if not neccesary because of row and collumn settings. that would allow to change the defaults without affecting functionality. even though this creates redundance it is worth it for usability. maybe write a script that can convert vice versa. this would also make it possible to merge rules. rule merging is going to be very important if this project should grow because it allows to distribute work and adapt to different needs of users. maybe you should work together with the guy from filterlists.com he has some plans to recompile and merge adblock lists.

Testers Wanted

Now, I really request someone to test the set on daily browsing and/or to report more usability issues.

This is actually mainly how others contribute to this repository without joining in flesh.

Rules Level

In the latest uMatrix release, you are allowed to adjust scope level from domain to site or global.
I don't think global level really makes sense and this repository is now domain level.

So questions can be concluded as:

  1. whether we create rules for per-site-level scopes?

    • review & rework to existed rules
    • update docs
  2. how should we distribute it?
