Instructions

The starter project has some HTML and CSS styling to display a static version of the Memory Game project. You'll need to convert this project from a static project to an interactive one. This will require modifying the HTML and CSS files, but primarily the JavaScript file.

To get started, open js/app.js and start building out the app's functionality

For specific, detailed instructions, look at the project instructions in the Udacity Classroom.

Contributing

This repository is the starter code for all Udacity students. Therefore, we most likely will not accept pull requests.

fend-project-memory-game's Issues

A modal when a user wins the game.

When a user wins the game, a modal appears to congratulate the player and ask if they want to play again. It should also tell the user how much time it took to win the game, and what the star rating was.

For the modal, you can make a separate div in the HTML and then hide/display it using JS. Do not forget to add all the required information on it (you can fetch that information using JS and embed it into the modal) :)

if a card is not matched, it should be closed

If a card is not matched, it stays open. This should not happen. if a card is not matched, it should be closed. This can be easily fixed by clearing the list of opened cards when no match is found.

Card shuffling function.

Use the card shuffling function given in the starter code to shuffle the list of cards before displaying them, and include a winning modal for the user to know when he has won :)

Fix timer.

On restarting the game, the timer speeds up, please try to maintain a fixed pace throughout the game.

number of moves

The number of moves should be incremented when 2 cards are clicked, not one.
