This portion of settings.py.template is a bit odd to understand:

And also has typos 'chagne' and 'conusmers'.

Currently the reference looks like this:
-e [email protected]:ucfcdl/pylti.git@roles#egg=PyLTI

That somewhat restricts it to ssh users, using the http version makes it a bit easier:
-e git+https://github.com/ucfcdl/pylti.git@roles#egg=PyLTI

We should probably specify in the README that PyLTI won't install unless you set up the virtualenv with Python 2.
