UnSupported Services Tools

This is a plugin that creates a new channel in Plex Media Server (PMS) to manage the installation and update of the UnSupportedServices.bundle (USS). The intent of this channel is to keep a clean install of the UnSupportedServices.bundle inbetween updates.

Note 1: This channel/plugin is in beta testing phase, and may not work across all platforms.

Install

Manual

  • Download the latests release and install by following the Plex instructions or the instructions below.
    • Unzip and rename the folder to UnSupportedServicesTools.bundle
    • Copy UnSupportedServicesTools.bundle into the PMS Plug-ins directory
    • Restart PMS

Issues

  • Sometimes the USST channel timeouts when installing. Normally it will continue to install, but at-times this is indicative to an error.

  • Include your Plex Media Server (PMS) version and host OS, as-well-as USS repo branch
  • Include as much detail as you can in your observation as to what the issue may be
  • Please upload com.plexapp.plugins.unsupportedservicestools.log and com.plexapp.system.log as an attachment or as a link with the logs hosted elsewhere.
