$ npm install --global alfred-youtube
Requires Node.js 4+ and the Alfred Powerpack.
I defaulting to npm
but you can also download the YouTube.alfredworkflow
and double-click the file.
Before running the workflow you need to set your YOUTUBE_API_KEY:
Here you can create one.
To enter it open Alfred Preferences > Workflows then select YouTube, finally click in Configure Workflow and Variables (as seen below):
In Alfred, type yt
, Enter, and your query.
